Entering a contest

I, for the first time in my life, have participated in a horror literature contest. I wont know the results until probably September or October. It is definitely something different and I must say, I hope I win. Believe me when I say that it is really not about the financial earnings that propel my hopes (first-place winner only gets $100.00) but it is the notoriety that I want. I swear, the things all of us writers must do to acquire an audience!
